Training for Safer Care
Explore how simulation-based training helps educators prepare safer, more confident healthcare professionals for the management of noncommunicable diseases.
About the Webinar
Every September 17, the World Health Organization marks World Patient Safety Day. The 2026 theme is "Safe care for noncommunicable diseases," with the slogan "Safe care for life!" The day builds on WHA 72.6, the resolution that recognized patient safety as a global health priority and established this annual observance.
Noncommunicable diseases, including cardiovascular disease, cancer, diabetes, and chronic respiratory conditions, affect people of all ages and often require ongoing, coordinated care. Preparing the next generation of healthcare professionals to manage these conditions safely starts long before they reach the bedside.
